(More customer reviews)I was also trying to find a microwavable heat pad and came across this eye pillow. I bought it cause I didn't need a big expensive pad and intended it for multi-purposes (like cold feet). I didn't see that it said it was for cooling. The customer review before me said they heated it anyway but I was worried because the product details say not to microwave. I emailed the company and they got back to me. They said that they don't recommend heating the eyes and therefore don't recommend heating the eye pillow but the materials are microwavable.
They wanted to stress that I could heat it at my own risk but they do not recommend it.

So it's all good.
